The Paramount Center for the Arts
Original theater established in 1931
Downtown Bristol is the proud home to the Paramount Theater which was built in 1931 and historically restored in 1991. Today, the theater is known as the Paramount Center for the Arts. Elaborate venetian-styled murals and art deco adorn the center which can seat up to 750 people. Hosting Broadway productions, symphonies, ballets, mountain music and rock & roll, and the Paramount Center for the Arts is quickly becoming one of the fastest-growing of its kind for performing arts in the South.
