SCOPE AND CONTENT
The Earl Lee  Feathers Collection is comprised of historical and genealogical items pertaining largely to Sullivan County, Tennessee. Items include, but are not limited to, photographs, documents, genealogy charts, and local memorabilia.  Collection also includes civic and community organization memorabilia.  Family surnames include, but are not limited to, Bailey, Feathers, Gunn, Hendrickson, Hicks, Humphreys, Jones, Malone, Milhorn.


BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Earl Lee Feathers, Sr. was born in 1927 to Samuel Millard Feathers and Faye Patterson Webb of Sullivan Co., TN.  Mr. Feathers graduated from Blountville High School, Blountville, Tennessee, in 1944.
