BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Edward C. Erwin (1908-1995) was born in Hamblen Co., TN to James E. Erwin and Jessie H. Barnes.  He married 24 August 1932 to Mary F. Boyd (1908-1996), daughter of Rev. Joseph M. Boyd, Sr. And Francis Hargis of Sullivan Co., TN. Both Edward C. Erwin and Mary F. Boyd are buried at the Rock Springs Cemetery in Sullivan County.
